ZooTampa at Lowry Park is a non-profit zoo in Tampa, Florida. Covering 56 acres, it is home to over 1,300 animals from around the world. The zoo has several themed areas, including Africa, Wallaroo Station, Florida Wildlife Corridor, Asian Gardens, and Primate World. Visitors can participate in animal encounters, such as feeding giraffes or rhinos, taking part in a penguin backstage pass, or even being a zookeeper for a day. ZooTampa also has a Florida conservation and rescue center, where they work to rehabilitate and release animals back into the wild. The zoo is open daily and offers a range of ticket options.
